As the Shiromani Akali Dal searches for a revival ahead of 2027, much of the spotlight remains on its traditional male leadership. Yet two of the party's most recognisable women leaders, Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Ganieve Kaur Majithia, continue to command visibility, political experience and influence across different sections of Punjab. The question is: Has the Akali Dal been underutilising two of its strongest campaigners ? At a time when women voters are becoming increasingly decisive in elections, should Harsimrat and Ganieve be leading the party's outreach on the ground rather than remaining supporting players in a campaign dominated by others ? Could the road to an Akali revival run as much through Punjab's women voters as through its traditional vote banks ?

For years, Wadala has been associated with calls for Panthic consolidation, new alliances and attempts to bring scattered groups together. The question is: Is he finally helping build the united Panthic front that Punjab has heard about for decades, or has he become the face of a political project that generates endless meetings, committees and declarations but struggles to produce lasting results ? As another chapter in the search for Panthic unity begins, is Wadala moving closer to a breakthrough or simply adding another meeting to a very long journey ?
