Manpreet Singh Ayali has been a three-time MLA from Dakha (2012, 2019 bypoll, 2022) and won 49,909 votes in 2022. Yet now, he is part of a rebel faction, while most grassroots leaders and Circle Jathedars remain loyal to SAD and Sukhbir Singh Badal. So the question is, Can Ayali’s personal clout survive in 2027 when the party’s local leaders openly reject his faction?
