ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਦਾ ਮਸਲਾ ਹੁਣ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਦੋਸ਼-ਪ੍ਰਤਿਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਦਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ. ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਥਿਤ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁਦਾਇਕ ਆਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਐਸ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਸੀ. ’ਤੇ ਹੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਮਸਲਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੁਣ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਗਤ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
