ਸੋਹਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਠੰਡਲ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਫਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਰੋਲਕੋਸਟਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ, ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ, ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਚੋਣ ਹਾਰਾਂ, ਪਾਰਟੀ ਬਦਲਣਾ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਆਖ਼ਿਰਕਾਰ ਮੁੜ ਸ਼ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ। ਸਮਰਥਕ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਨੇਤਾ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਬਦਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਚਾਅ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਠੰਡਲ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਝਟਕੇ ਆ ਜਾਣ, ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਕੀ ਸੋਹਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਠੰਡਲ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਦੋਆਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੁਣ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਤੱਕ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ?
