The Aam Aadmi Party promised to redefine governance in Punjab. But somewhere along the way, routine administrative work seems to have turned into headline politics. Appointment letters for teachers, clerks, and other government employees, something every government is constitutionally expected to do, are repeatedly presented as grand political events featuring the Chief Minister and senior ministers. This raises a bigger question: Has the AAP Government elevated governance, or simply elevated its publicity ? Is Punjab's Chief Minister expected to shape the state's future, or become the ceremonial distributor of appointment letters ? Has AAP's style of governance blurred the line between administration and political branding ?

B) The Chief Minister's office appears to be spending too much political capital on ceremonial events instead of transformative governance.

C) The emphasis on publicity risks making governance look like an event rather than an institution.

D) The real legacy of any government should be measured by long-term outcomes, not by the number of stages, speeches, and photo opportunities.

ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਸੁਰਖ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਬਣਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ, ਕਲਰਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਦੇਣਾ, ਜੋ ਹਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦਾ ਮਿਆਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸਦੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਡਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ? ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਵੰਡ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਬਣਨਾ ? ਕੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੈਲੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਡਿੰਗ ਵਿਚਲੀ ਲਕੀਰ ਧੁੰਦਲੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ?
