ਕਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅੱਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ, ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿਵਾਦ, ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਬਗਾਵਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਲਝੀ ਹੋਈ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੱਕ, ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹਾਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ 'ਆਪ' ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ ? ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਏ, ਕੀ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ?
