Government employees are stepping up protests over pensions, pay scales and pending DA arrears, with unions even announcing a statewide Maha Bandh. At the same time, Punjab’s debt has reached around ₹4.2 Lakh Crores, making it harder for the Bhagwant Mann Government to meet growing financial demands.
