Farmers were central to Bhagwant Mann’s promise of a different Punjab. Four years later, farmer debt, farm distress and farmer suicides remain painful realities. With 2027 approaching, the uncomfortable question is: Has the Mann government actually changed the lives of Punjab’s farmers or are the biggest problems still waiting for a solution ? Did Bhagwant Mann change Punjab’s farm Story or just add another chapter to it ?

A) The Government has taken genuine steps towards improving farmers’ lives and agriculture.

B) Crop diversification and farmer-support measures give Mann a record to defend.

C) Farmer debt, distress and suicides show that the deeper crisis is far from over.

D) After four years, if farmers are still struggling with debt and despair, Mann’s promise of a new Punjab faces a serious reality check.

ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ, ਖੇਤੀ ਸੰਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਇਕ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। 2027 ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸਹਿਜ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਦਲੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਹੱਲ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ? ਕੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਬਦਲੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ?
