2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ 117 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ, ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਬਣਤਰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਲਗਭਗ 31.9% ਆਬਾਦੀ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਜੱਟ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਬਿਨਾਂ ਇਹ ਮੰਨੇ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਇਕੋ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ? ਜਦੋਂ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਆਗੂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਬਣਾ ਸਕੇਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਲੜਾਈ 2027 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ-ਖਾਸੀਆਂ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ?
