BJP’s Punjab campaign is increasingly being led from the national stage, with Union ministers and senior central leaders taking the spotlight in major campaigns. At the same time, several Punjab BJP leaders appear to have a much smaller public role in these campaigns. As the party prepares for 2027, is there a risk that its state leaders remain overshadowed by the national leadership, and will voters remember the Punjab faces when it is time to ask who actually led the campaign on the ground ?

A) National leaders can bring reach but Punjab leaders need stronger visibility with voters.

B) The state unit needs to give local leaders a clear role in shaping the Punjab campaign.

D) The real test will be whether today’s national-led campaign creates lasting recognition for the party’s local leaders.

ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲਦੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਆਗੂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਤਕ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਘੱਟ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। 2027 ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਦੱਬਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਵੋਟਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਿਹਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ?
