ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹਾਈ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਨੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਚੁਣਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਸ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਛੁਕ ਦੱਸੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਕ ਧੜੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਜੇ ਚੰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਸਿਖਰਲੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਹਾਈ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਧੜੇਬੰਦੀ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਟਿਕਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਸਲ ਤਾਕਤ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ?
