Manpreet Singh Ayali says only Akali Dal ‘Waris Punjab De’ can eradicate Punjab’s drug problem. But the party itself is still awaiting formal ECI registration, while its leader Amritpal Singh remains in jail. The ECI has also told the Delhi High Court that security-related concerns are part of its review of the registration application. Before declaring that Waris Punjab De alone can save Punjab from drugs, should Manpreet Ayali first answer how a party without ECI registration and with its leader in jail plans to run the state ?

ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ‘ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ’ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਸਮੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੀ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅਯਾਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਰਸਮੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਗੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸੂਬਾ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ?
