The Punjab Government reportedly spent ₹250 Crores and deployed 28,000 employees to survey 65 Lakhs families on drug use. Yet, the findings have not been made public. At a time when drugs remain a major concern in Punjab, the silence raises serious questions about transparency, public money and the Government's promise to fight addiction. If the survey was meant to expose the scale of Punjab’s drug crisis and help the Government tackle it, why is the report still under wraps ? What was the point of spending ₹250 Crores if people cannot see the findings or judge what action has followed ?

A) The Government should release the report and show what the ₹250 Crores achieved.

B) Without public findings, the survey risks becoming an expensive exercise with no clear results.

C) If the data revealed the scale of Punjab’s drug crisis, people deserve to know what action followed.

D) Spending ₹250 Crores is not success in itself; the real test is whether drug use has fallen.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਰਵੇਖਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ₹250 ਕਰੋੜ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ 28,000 ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਸਰਵੇਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ 65 ਲੱਖ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਜਨਤਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਾ ਆਉਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਪੈਸੇ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਠਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਇਸ ਸਰਵੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਜਨਤਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ? ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਦੇਖ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ₹250 ਕਰੋੜ ਖਰਚ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਮਕਸਦ ਸੀ ?
