Now, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also left for a Vipassana retreat in Bengaluru while his Government faces the Akal Takht controversy, demands to amend the anti-sacrilege law, and mounting political criticism. This raises a larger question: At a time when Punjab is looking for answers, should its Chief Minister be searching for inner peace, or should he first restore public confidence through leadership and accountability ? Can meditation quiet a political storm, or must difficult questions be answered before peace can truly be found ?
