The AAP came to power promising a new era of transparency, dialogue and respect for youth aspirations. Yet today, unemployed teachers demanding recruitment are being arrested, sent to judicial custody and facing criminal charges after protesting against Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. This raises a bigger question: Has Bhagwant Mann's Government begun treating unemployed youth as a law-and-order problem instead of a governance priority ? Can the Government that once rose on the strength of protests now justify using police action against those demanding jobs it had promised ?

A) A democratic Government must engage with unemployed youth through dialogue, not police cases.

B) Stopping a minister's convoy crosses the line, and the law must take its course regardless of the issue.

C) The AAP cannot build its politics on protests in opposition and criminalise protests after coming to power.

D) If promises of jobs are followed by arrests instead of appointments, Punjab's youth will deliver the final verdict in 2027.

ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ, ਸੰਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਭਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਨਿਆਂਇਕ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ 'ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਫੌਜਦਾਰੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ: ਕੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ-ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ? ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆੰਦੋਲਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਸੀ, ਕੀ ਓਹੀ ਹੁਣ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ?
