The Aam Aadmi Party’s first list of 40 candidates for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections has left Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains out, sparking speculation about a possible shift from Sri Anandpur Sahib. BJP leader Subhash Sharma claims Bains may be looking for a safer seat after sensing the public mood. Bains has dismissed the speculation, declaring that he will “live and die” in Anandpur Sahib.
